Young actor Abraham Attah has in an interview sent a fair response to the section of the Ghanaian public that criticized his appointment as the Free SHS Ambassador.
Speaking in an interview on Accra-based GH One TV with show host Kafui Dey, the “Beast of No Nation” star indicated that it was unfair for some people to ‘attack’ him on his assumption as a role model for SHS students.
The actor indicated that he was not being paid as the Free SHS ambassador. He went on to address the concerns many had about the fact that he was currently a student in another country. He indicated that he had also been in a student in a Ghanaian school therefore making him fit for the role.
The actor indicated that it came as a surprise to him that some people did not find him to be the best candidate for the job. Abraham Attah however indicated that his main motivational factor in accepting he position was the opportunity he had to empower younger ones on the importance of education.
Abraham Attah shot to the limelight with the role he played in the movie, “Beast of no Nation”. He has gone on to also star in the latest release of the “Spiderman” sequel. He was outdoored as the ambassador for Free SHS by the Minister of Education.
